In the Netherlands we have an expression: “To play for bacon and beans.“ it means that you are not really playing the game for real. There are no winners and it is only for fun or to try out the game to fully understand the rules. I like to think that way about art as well.

The most beautiful thing about art is that there is always more to learn. There is no limit to how well someone can draw. And seeing every little bit of progress makes me so happy and determined to continue.

I started this account to hide behind a froggy profile picture. When I first posted my art on my personal social media I felt embarresed whenever someone I knew found my cringy anime art. So I decided to fully embace the cutesy artstyle with a new account and a new name.

Over time my artstyle changed. I took influences from Rossdraws, Samdoesarts and Loish. I grew to appreciate the jagged corners of older polygonal video games. Semi-realistic lighting and simplistic shapes really define my artstyle.
